Where We Work
We work out of Fayetteville, NC and cover the towns within a short drive: Spring Lake and Hope Mills sit about 7 to 8 miles out, Rockfish and Eastover run 8 to 11 miles, and we'll go as far as Wade, Raeford, Stedman, Rex, and Godwin when a call comes in from that side of the county. Closer in, we're routinely working the Seventy-First, Douglas Byrd, Jack Britt, South View, and Linden Oaks areas, all within a few miles of downtown.
That radius isn't arbitrary - it's the area where we can get a truck to your driveway the same day without stacking three counties' worth of jobs onto one schedule. If you're outside that ring, call anyway and we'll tell you straight whether it makes sense for us to come out.
What We Are Called Out For
Most of the housing stock around here went up between 1969 and 2003, with the bulk of it dating to the 1980s and 90s across the ten areas we cover most. That means a lot of the doors we open up are original steel sectional doors on extension or early torsion setups, now thirty-plus years old, with rollers worn oval and hinges stretched past spec. Openers from that era are chain-drive units nearing or past their expected service life, so a dead opener call is as common as a broken spring.
We also see cold-weather symptoms play out on these older doors - hardened lubricant, a track that's shifted slightly out of plumb over the decades, and springs that finally give out on the first hard freeze of the season. We don't do much work on doors installed in the last five years; those are usually still under a manufacturer part warranty and better handled through the installer.
